Dental implants can restore your smile with a natural-looking tooth replacement. At Sedation Dental Care, we’re proud to make dental implants easier and less painful with the latest advancement in dental surgery: precision guided implants.

What are Precision Guided Implants?

Where traditional implants use x-rays to plan the implant placement, this state-of-the-art method uses CT scans to create a 3D model of the patient’s face and jaw. This allows us to place the implant anchor more accurately than other methods, typically within just 0.5mm of where it was planned.

More accurate placement reduces the need for incisions and sutures, with most patients needing neither. Many times, this means a quicker recovery with less pain and swelling.

Benefits of Precision Dental Implants

  • Safer surgery with more accurate implant placement
  • Shorter operation time
  • Smaller incisions with less bleeding and pain
  • Shorter healing time
  • Minimal bone grafting
